What Moves You: Starting from the Bottom Up, a Lower Extremity Focus

This course is designed to provide the student with the background of how to evaluate and treat patients with disorders of the lower extremity. They will be taught basic clinical skills for diagnosing and treating specific syndromes affecting the lumbar spine by recognizing signs and symptoms related to
those syndromes. Through lecture and demonstration, the student will be covering topics in anatomy, biomechanics and pathology related to the lower extremity. Specific movement impairment syndromes related to the lower extremity will be introduced, as well as intervention strategies based on current evidence to remedy these impairments.
